Shortly before Christmas my MIL ("NeNe" to the kids) took each of my kids on a shopping expedition to our local Dollar Tree for them to pick out gifts for their siblings. While Thomas was on his trip somewhere along the way he was given a 4-H stickerl. You know, the four leafed clover. He stuck it on his hand and they were on their way. Later Thomas and NeNe stopped at The Donut Shop (Buckhannon's answer to Dunkin Donuts) for a treat.
For some odd reason there is a video lottery machine and Keno screens inside The Donut Shop.
Thomas found his way over to the video machine and started pushing buttons which brought up the "You Won!" demonstration. Thomas thought he actually won something and re-named himself Lucky-Man Thomas. The rest of the day all we heard was, "I'm Lucky-Man Thomas!"

He is pretty lucky!!! What does being Irish have to do with it? I thought it was the red hair!!!!
Patrick is the one with the red hair. I just thought it was funny since our kids have so much Irish ancestry and the 4-H symbol is a 4-leaf clover. And the way he said it was so hilarious, it's too bad Lucky Man broke our camera or I could post some video of him saying it.
Better keep him out of Hot Spots . . .
i'd think I were lucky if I got to get some wares from a donut shop!
